About

My name is Niko Marttinen and I am the founder of BrierLabs, a data science and AI consultancy helping companies turn complex data into better commercial decisions. My background combines M.Sc.-level statistics with 20+ years across sports betting, trading, risk, and product management.

My core domain is sports betting. I have led teams of odds compilers, been accountable for a sportsbook's P&L, and built and launched a sportsbook and casino from scratch as Sports Betting Director. I support operators and betting technology companies on both technical and strategic challenges.

At the same time, I work well outside the sports betting domain. My experience in commodity trading, central bank statistics, product management, and operational IT gives me a broad toolkit for analytics projects where companies need someone who can understand the business problem, shape the data approach, and deliver practical, decision-oriented solutions.
